Four-year-old Emirati boy, maid drown in a swimming pool in Ras Al Khaimah

A four-year-old Emirati child and a 23-year-old Ethiopian maid drowned in a swimming pool in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday evening.
Medical sources reported that the two victims were: a child, who was identified as A. S. K, from Abu Dhabi, and an African maid.
They were with a family for vacation and recreation in Ras Al Khaimah, before the tragedy occurred.
The two victims were transferred by the National Ambulance at about 9:00 pm on Wednesday, as the child was sent to Saqr Hospital, and the maid to Obaidullah Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, the sources added.
The medical report, issued on the condition of the Emirati child, confirmed that he arrived at the hospital unconscious with his heart stopped, and the maid also arrived after she died.
The medical team tried to save the two victims by first aid and resuscitation to no avail.
