Speeding Mercedes kills 1, wreaks havoc in Bengaluru in a bid to flee scene

In a tragic incident, a motorist driving a luxury car crashed into vehicles repeatedly in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

DCP Traffic East Zone Shant Raju told media that the Mercedes Benz car first hit a bike. The motorist tried to flee the scene but landed up hitting a parked hatchback car. The hatchback driver died on the spot from injuries sustained from the crash.

Eyewitnesses said that the car was overspeeding, and that may have resulted in the accident.

The Mercedes driver did not stop after crashing into the hatchback. In an attempt to flee, 7 other vehicles were damaged in the horrifying incident that took place in the Indira Nagar area, local media reported.

The Merc flipped over and crashed on the sidewalk.

The Merc driver was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
