Huge smoke and ash coming out of Mount Semeru in Indonesia forced thousands to flee to safer places on Saturday.
According to the country's disaster mitigation agency 41 burn injuries are reported from Semeru volcano eruption, said Lumajang district’s deputy chief.
As the lava reached nearby villages authorities moved into action and started rescuing people from the areas near Mount Semeru.
Authorities were building up some shelters in several locations in Lumajang.
Lava coming down for the Mount Semeru destroyed a bridge in Lumajang regency in East Java.
A video released by the agency showed locals, including scores of children, running for safety as Mount Semeru erupted at 3:00 pm local time on Saturday.
A restricted zone of five kilometres was established from the crater after the eruption.
The nation has nearly 130 active volcanoes.
No casualties were reported, but an official had earlier urged people to stay at least 3 km from the crater, Indonesia’s Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Centre said.
It was Mount Merapi’s biggest lava flow since authorities raised its danger level in November, said Hanik Humaida, the head of Yogyakarta’s Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Center.
Indonesia's rumbling Mount Sinabung erupted Monday, sending a column of volcanic materials as high as 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) into the sky and depositing ash on villages.
The Coromandel Express, which runs from Kolkata to Chennai, derailed and fell on the opposite track, with many people still trapped, the reports said.
Sheikh Mohammed added in a tweet on Twitter: "We found its executive director at the service counters, receiving customers, speeding up procedures, and contributing to clearing transactions. The secret shopper assured us that providing the service did not exceed five minutes."
The first lady arrived in Cairo from Amman, where she attended the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein. She is travelling to Morocco on Saturday before heading to Portugal, the final stop of her tour, on Monday.
