VIDEO: Hamdan shares Jetmen’s flight over Dubai with a message ‘In memory of Vincent Reffet’

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, shared a video of Jetman Dubai team’s performance over the skies of Dubai.

Sheikh Hamdan wrote on Instagram, “The path to the future has already been set.

“In memory of Vincent Reffet 1984 – 2020.”


XDubai, home to sports lovers, adventure hunters, wrote on Youtube, “In memory of Vince Reffet. Jetman Dubai Pilots Vincent Reffet and Fred Fugen fly over the famous Sheikh Zayed Road at a record breaking low altitude of 200m (656ft.).

This milestone was completed in 2019, in the heart of Dubai.

Vince Reffet was leading member of Dubai Jetman, who broke records and achieved new heights, and paved the way for a more advanced future.

In February 2020, Expo 2020 Dubai and Jetman Dubai accomplished another world first in their quest to achieve 100 per cent autonomous human flight: Vince took off from the ground, transitioning into a high-altitude flight.

The French national died in an accident in Dubai on November 17, 2020.

Vince wowed the world with his daredevil flights over the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa and an Emirates Jumbo jet.

Vincent was close to Sheikh Hamdan.

Hamdan and Vincent made flights together.

Sheikh Hamdan wrote on his Instagram, “We will miss you.”
