Khalifa issues decree establishing Federal Protocol and Strategic Narrative Authority

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a federal decree-law establishing the Federal Protocol and Strategic Narrative Authority (FPSNA).

The decree stipulates that the FPSNA will have all the powers necessary to achieve its objectives and will enjoy legal personality, financial and administrative independence and the legal capacity to act.

It reports to the Minister of Presidential Affairs.

According to Article 4 thereof, the FPSNA is tasked with handling all matters related to the reception, accommodation and visits of UAE guests as well as the visits of the UAE president and leaders, as per the highest standards.

It is also tasked with upgrading the concepts of strategic narration and highlighting the positive and inspiring aspects of the UAE founders and leaders.

Sheikh Khalifa also issued two federal decrees appointing Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi as FPSNA chairman with the rank of minister and Samira Murshed Saleh Mohammed Al Rumaithi as FPSNA secretary general with the rank of minister.
