In detail, the Operations Room at the General Command of Sharjah Police on Thursday received a report about a traffic accident on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street in the central region.
The police patrols rushed to the scene and gave first aid to the injured.
The police were moving the vehicle from the road, it is when a speeding vehicle drove into police cars, resulting in the injury of a policeman.
The policeman was taken to Al Dhaid Hospital, and the driver sustained moderate injuries.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, commander of the Sharjah Police said he visited the injured policeman Ahmed Al Marzouki at Al Dhaid Hospital, and his condition is stable.
