Fujairah announces 50 per cent discount on traffic fines

Upon the directives of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the General Command of Fujairah, reduced the value of traffic fines by 50%, cancelled traffic black points, and violations of vehicle impoundment for 50 days, as of Nov.28.

The decision includes traffic violations registered before Nov.25, 2021 and does not include strict violations.

Major General Mohammed Ahmed Bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, commander of Fujairah Police, said the decision was taken as the Crown Prince of Fujairah is keen on the happiness of citizens and residents on the occasion of the UAE 50th National Day.

He pointed out that the Fujairah Police are also keen on applying all the initiatives, which make people happy and help them finalise their transactions easily and comfortably.

Colonel Saleh Mohammed Al Dhanhani, head of traffic and patrols at Fujairah Police urged individuals to seize the chance to benefit from the initiative and pay their fines.
