Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will be on an official visit to Turkey on Wednesday, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
His Highness will discuss with the Turkish President the prospects of consolidating bilateral ties across various fields to achieve their mutual interests, in addition to reviewing a number of issues of common concern and the latest regional and international issues.
"Bilateral relations will be reviewed with all its dimensions, and steps to improve relations will be discussed," the presidency said in a statement on Tuesday.
Regional and international issues will also figure in the talks, it added.
This announcement followed the talks held between His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, which aimed to support the Turkish economy and boost the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
They also discussed new prospects for overall cooperation between their countries to serve the mutual interests, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
This came in a phone call Sheikh Mohamed received from the Turkish leader, during which the latter congratulated him on the UAE 50th Anniversary, wishing the Emirates continued progress and prosperity.
Finance ministers and central bank governors of the United States, Japan, Canada, Britain, Germany, France and Italy — the G7 — will hold talks as Ukraine, invaded by Russia on Feb. 24, is struggling to fend off the attack.
Russia said on Wednesday an additional 694 more fighters had surrendered, bringing the total number to 959. Its defence ministry posted videos of what it said were Ukrainian fighters receiving hospital treatment after surrendering at Azovstal.
Priority would be given to those who are registered in the Hajj electronic system and whose data have been previously updated.
"The FNC is confident that the UAE, under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, will see a new era of achievements and development. The country will continue to be the nation of giving, tolerance, safety and security," Ghobash said.
