Ajman offers 50% discount in traffic fines to mark UAE's golden jubilee

Under the directives of Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, Ajman has announced a 50% discount on traffic fines and cancelled vehicle impounding orders and black points from Nov.21 to Dec.31.

The decision was announced to mark the golden jubilee of the UAE.

“The reduction applies to all traffic violations committed in the Emirate of Ajman, and includes cancellation of black points and vehicle impounding, however, serious violations are excluded from the decision,” Sheikh Sultan said.

The Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police added that the decision came to ease payment of fines, reflecting the interest of the Ajman Police to enhance the continuity of development in various fields, and to harness all the possibilities to ensure the happiness of the public.

He called on vehicle owners to expedite the payment of fines and benefit from the discount within the specified period, through smart payment channels via the MOI application, the Ajman Police smart application, e-payment through the website of the Ministry of the Interior and Sahel electronic devices, or at the service centers.

He further stressed the need to adhere to the traffic rules and instructions to avoid committing violations and accidents, wishing safety for all.
