The Sharjah City Municipality has given owners of impounded vehicles, machinery, motorcycles and bicycles a grace period of 4 days to take the necessary measures to release them in order to avoid being sold at a public auction.

This came in an announcement made by the municipality via its electronic platforms and official channels to the owners of these vehicles and bikes that had been impounded for more than six months.

The municipality stressed the need for vehicle owners to check with the Inspection and Control Department in the 5th Industrial Area within 4 days from the date of publishing the announcement to settle their issues and receive their respective impounded vehicles; otherwise, the competent authority in the municipality will be forced to sell the vehicles in a public auction as soon as the grace period is over on November 10, 2021.

The municipality also published through its channels the list of the impounded vehicles, by scanning the quick response (QR) and called on the applicants to visit its website www.shjmun.gov.ae for more details.
