Mohammed, Indonesian president meet at Expo, discuss bilateral ties

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday met Indonesian President Joko Widodo at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance was alos present at the meeting.

During the meeting the two leaders discussed ways to enhance the bilateral relations between the UAE and Indonesia.

The two sides signed agreements in the fields of aviation, petroleum, energy, protection of investments, financial payment systems and others.

“The value of our trade exchanges with them is Dhs7 billion in 2020, and we want to double cooperation with them as a strategic partner to reach new heights,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
