In a bizarre incident a principal of a school in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, dangled a child upside down from the balcony of the first floor of the school building as a punishment for being mischievous.

The principal, Manoj Vishwakarma, was arrested after the photograph of incident went viral on social media.

After that the Mirzapur District Magistrate ordered a complaint against the principal.

Following the magistrate’s report police swung into action and arrested Manoj Vishwakarma. The child was studying  at the Sadbhavna Shikshan Sansthan Junior High School in Ahraura, Mirzapur.

The incident took pace on Oct.28 but came into prominence only after it went viral on social media.

 The child was pulled up only after he begged forgiveness and accorsding to an eyewitness the whole incident went on for at least 10 minutes.
