A videograb shows the aircraft in flames in Waller County, Texas.
Emergency teams were at the site of the crash trying to put out the fire.
Thick black smoke billows from the aircraft were seen from miles.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane crashed into a fence and caught fire while departing from Houston Executive Airport around 10am.
Authorities said that the plane never got off ground.
Waller County Judge Trey Duhon said, “The information we have at this time indicates that the plane did not attain altitude at the end off the runway and crossed Morton Road, stopping in the field just north of the airport, where it caught fire.”
