Civil Defence teams control a fire.

Civil Defence teams of Sharjah controlled a fire which broke out in a vehicle in the Samanan area without injuries.

Details date back to the time when the Operations Room of the Civil Defence Department received a report on a fire in a four-wheel drive vehicle in Samanan area in near Al Sahaba Mosque, at 10:45 pm on Thursday.

Instantly, Civil Defence teams, the national ambulance and police patrols rushed to the scene.

The teams controlled the fire in record time.

The Civil Defence Department in Sharjah appealed to vehicle owners to do the periodic maintenance for their vehicles and keep fire extinguishers in their vehicles to minimize material losses.

The police said such accidents can take drastic turns and can lead widespread damages.
