Tourists have to follow 6 steps before travelling to UAE

The Al Hosn application provided the registration of COVID-19 vaccines received outside the UAE by tourists planning to visit the country. Tourists have to follow 6 steps before arriving at any UAE’s airport.

First, they have to download the Federal Authority for Identity (ICA), Customs and Security Ports applications before traveling. Then they have to fill up a form at the check-in at the airport.

They are asked then to upload the vaccination certificate, use the same phone number registered at the ICA to register at Al Hosn app, where a short SMS containing a link to download Al Hosn.

The steps also include obtaining the UID by visitors, which can be obtained at the airport at arrival or through the ICA website.

Finally, a password will be sent via an SMS and the visitor must have a PCR negative test before completing the registration process.

The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre previously identified 3 steps citizens and residents have to follow to register for COVID-19 vaccines obtained outside the UAE at Al Hosn app.

First, they have to make sure the vaccine received is approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the UAE Ministry of health. The vaccine must also be received after October 1, 2020.

The Centre explained that 9 accredited vaccines include: Pionche vaccine, Senovarem, Hyatt, Spotenik, Oxford - Astrazenka, Moderna, Kufichield, Johnson & Johnson, and Senovak vaccine.
