His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, on Sunday toured a number of the pavilions of the participating countries in Expo 2020 Dubai.
The tour included a number of pavilions of the brotherly GCC countries participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai, such as Kuwait and Qatar, where Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid was briefed on the major developments they have achieved in various fields.
His Highness also visited the pavilion of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, which showcases a comprehensive view of Bahrain's culture and ancient heritage.
Sheikh Mohammed also went to the pavilions of a number of other countries, such as Uganda, where he met the Ugandan President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The tour also included the Russian pavilion, which highlights achievements in industry, science, technology and culture.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum, tours Expo 2020 Dubai on its second day. Sheikh Mohammed visited the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Sunday toured a number of pavilions at the Sustainability District at Expo 2020 including those of Seychelles and Montenegro.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, "Dubai today welcomed delegates representing 173 countries and 24 international organisations at the final International Participants Meeting before Expo 2020 Dubai opens in October..."
Saif Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi affirmed that Expo 2020 Dubai would create promising opportunities for participating countries and boost efforts being made to stimulate global economy and enhance confidence in sectors hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
