Air ambulance crashes in UAE, killing 4

An Abu Dhabi air ambulance flown by the emirate’s police crashed on Saturday (October 2, 2021), killing four people, who were on duty. The Abu Dhabi Police mourned the demise of the victims in an official statement. No details on the location or cause of the crash have been revealed yet.

Police said the victims included two pilots (Lieutenant Colonel Pilot-Instructor Khamis Saeed Al Holy and Lieutenant Pilot Nasser Mohammad Al-Rashidi), a civilian doctor (Shahid Farouq Gholam) and a civilian nurse (Joweil Qeyoui Sakara Mineto).
