The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) has determined three steps to register the COVID-19 vaccines taken outside the country by UAE nationals and residents in Alhosn App.

The first step is to make sure that the vaccine is among the approved vaccines by the Ministry of Health and prevention and the World Health Organisation, and that vaccines are taken after October 1, 2020.

The official approved vaccines are nine namely (Pfizer – BioTech, Sinopharm, Hyatvax, Sputnik V, Oxford / Astrazeneca, Moderna, Covisheild, Janssen / (Johnson & Johnson) and Sinovac).

The second step is to make sure that the certificate of vaccination includes the following information: name of the vaccine recipient, vaccine recipient identifies (and in case the EID is not available, use unified number in passport), vaccine name (or manufacturer name), batch number / lot number, vaccination date, place of vaccination including country name.

The third and final step, visit an authorised medical centre in Abu Dhabi for medical evaluation. The authorised centres in Abu Dhabi are Abu Dhabi Health Service Company (Seha) – phone 80050, and Mubadala Health – phone 8004959.

Then, an authorised report will be submitted by the visited centre to get the vaccine registered.

34,365 more COVID-19 vaccine doses given: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that 34,365 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to Thursday stands at 20,052,399 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 202.75 doses per 100 people.

The vaccination drive is in line with the Ministry’s plan to provide the vaccine to all members of society and acquire immunity, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the spread of the virus. More than 233.22 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 4,977,224 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Thursday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
