Expo 2020 visitors will be able to avail police service without any human intervention

Four Smart Police Stations (SPS) will be at the service of all the visitors at the Dubai Expo 2020. 

All the services will be available 24/7 will be totally without any human intervention, which will help visitors at the Expo, to save their time and enjoy the expo stress free.

Recently the Dubai Police General Command and Dubai Expo 2020 Office have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with aim of providing policing service to visitors of the global event.

Major General Ali Ahmed Abdullah Ghanem, Director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station, and Colonel Ali Khalifa Al Ghais, Chief Executive Officer of Security for Expo 2020 Dubai, signed the MoU.

Many other senior officers and employees of both sides were also present at the MoU signing ceremony.

General Ghanem stressed that the MoU is in line with Dubai Police's keenness to enhance the partnership between the Force and the Expo 2020 Office to serve visitors of the world’s greatest show.

He also highlighted the importance of cooperation and coordination to attend to visitors’ needs and enquires via the latest and most innovative service channels.

Colonel Al Ghais confirmed that Dubai Police plays a significant role in securing the much-awaited event that holds great economic, touristic and cultural importance.

This type of self-service station is supported by smart and interactive technologies.

Smart Police Stations enables customers to complete transactions smoothly and without visiting the traditional police stations or waiting in queues.

SPS also enables officers, who speak seven different languages, to serve customers effectively through video-calls.
