Sheikh Sultan issues Emiri decree inviting Sharjah Consultative Council to convene

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued Emiri Decree No. (36) of 2021 inviting the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) to convene for its third regular session of the tenth legislative term.

The Emiri decree stipulates that the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah will be called on to convene for its third regular session of the tenth legislative term on Thursday, October 7.

Emiri Decree adding SADDASAR to University of Sharjah

Sheikh Sultan also issued Emiri Decree No. (37) for 2021 to add the Sharjah Award for the best Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences in the Arab Region to University of Sharjah (UOS).

The Emiri Decree stipulates that Sharjah Award for the best Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences in the Arab Region will be adding to the University of Sharjah as of its date, and be reorganised and developed to serve the achievement of its objectives by a decision of the University President based on the presentation of the Director and the approval of the Board of Trustees.

All material and moral rights, obligations, assets of the Sharjah Award for the best Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences in the Arab Region shall be transferred to the university from the date of this decree.

The decree is effective from the day of issuance, and other competent authorities should implement its provisions each in its respective field, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
