The Saad Al-Abdullah area in Kuwait witnessed a horrific crime, when a maid killed her newborn after giving birth, in the house of her sponsor, according to Kuwaiti local media.
Local media reported, quoting the Kuwait Police that they had received a report from a Kuwaiti, stating that his 39-year-old Indian maid killed her newborn as soon as he was born.
The body was transferred to the Department of Forensic Medicine.
The police are intensifying their investigations to find out the motive behind the horrific crime.
The crime caused widespread anger on social networking sites, during which users demanded the harshest punishment for the killer's mother.
In 2017, a domestic help accidentally killed her newborn during delivery.
According to the police report, the Sri Lankan woman had labour pains inside her Jordanian sponsor’s house.
Media reported that the domestic help locked herself up inside a room and attempted to deliver the baby on her own.
She tried to pull the baby but ended up accidentally decapitating it, then screamed for help.
