‘Principles of the 50’ reflect the ambition on which UAE was founded, says Sheikh Sultan

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, confirmed that the “Principles of the 50” directed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is an extension of the prudent vision and the ambition on which the UAE was founded.
Sheikh Sultan said, “Over the past years, the Union has been the main element that united the vision and efforts of all federal and local institutions and entities, and gathered the citizens with affiliation, loyalty and sincerity to achieve what we all aspire to from a decent life, prosperity and progress in all sectors that make the UAE a beacon for progress and prosperity, reflecting the authentic values on which we were founded and shaped our identity in which we take pride.
“All that has been achieved is a result of a great focus on the main and real driving force of the development, which is the citizens, who were and still are up to the responsibility, confidence and great ambition set by the leadership.
“They will need to double the efforts to achieve greater achievements in the next fifty years through keeping pace with the modern technologies,” Sheikh Sultan added.
