UAE sees gradual decrease in COVID-19 cases, only 994 new infections in 24 hours

The UAE Ministry of Health conducted 300,828 tests in the past 24 hours to detect new cases of coronavirus.

The authorities revealed 994 new cases of the Coronavirus.

The doctors treating COVID-19 cases in the UAE said that 1,570 previously infected patients have recovered from the dreaded disease.

The authorities, however, announced death of 4 people from COVID-19 related complications.

The health ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the infected cases.  

Over the past few weeks, the authorities said that there has been a gradual decrease in COVID-19 cases in the country.

The ministry thanks all community members for the commitment to all the precautionary measures in the country.

The health experts urged everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible to curb the spread of coronavirus.   

The experts also said that 65,128 doses of COVID19 vaccine were given in the last 24 hours.

This made the total doses to 17,990,193, with a distribution rate of 181.90 doses per 100 people.

A percentage of 86.15% have received 1 dose and 75.30% is fully vaccinated of the population.
