VIDEO: 85% of employees in Sheikh Mohammed’s office are women

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, praised the role played by women in building the UAE for generations on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day.  

The event is marked on August 28, 2021.

Sheikh Mohammed took to Twitter and shared a video message highlighting their role.

Sheikh Mohammed said, “On the Emirati Women’s Day, we congratulate the mother of the Emirates, Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, for her efforts over decades.

“We also congratulate the daughters of the Emirates for the achievements they have done and the building blocks they built. We also congratulate the people of the UAE on the more stable and the cohesive society with which we enter the new fiftieth.”

Sheikh Mohammed added, “Women in the UAE are dedicated to education and knowledge. They have a vast, bright future ahead.

“About 70% of the UAE’s graduates are women.

“And at my office 85% of employees are females. We have high hopes in them. We believe one woman has the strength of a thousand men.”



Similarly, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces praised the Emirati women for their role in society.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said, “On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, we salute all women across the UAE and express our sincerest gratitude for their contribution to our society and our nation. Women were pivotal to our success in the last 50 years and will play a vital role in shaping our future.”
