No quarantine for travellers to Abu Dhabi from 29 countries

Travellers from 29 countries can now travel to Abu Dhabi without having to quarantine.

This was revealed in an updated ‘Green List’ issued by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT- Abu Dhabi.

The List is effective from Friday (Aug.20, 2021) 12AM UAE time.

However, the department also clarifies that the list is subject to change based on global COVID-19 developments.

Following are the 29 countries in the updated ‘Green List:’

  • Albania
  • Australia
  • Austria
  • Bahrain
  • Belgium
  • Brunei
  • Bulgaria
  • Canada
  • China
  • Czech Republic
  • Germany
  • Hong Kong (SAR)
  • Hungary
  • Malta
  • Mauritius
  • Moldova
  • New Zealand
  • Poland
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Romania
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Serbia
  • Seychelles
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Taiwan, Province of China
  • Ukraine

Moreover, travellers from Bahrain, Greece, Serbia and Seychelles will also not be required to quarantine when they travel to Abu Dhabi if they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (final dose received at least 28 days before travel).
