The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) said that residency holders who want to return from countries under travel suspension list, have to apply for approval via the website.

Authority noted that the applicant must have received the two dozes of vaccines in the UAE and that 14 days passed since receiving the second dose, in addition to having a certificate certified by official authorities in the UAE.

ICA also affirmed that the categories of people exempted are the medical personnel, education staff, students inside the UAE, the federal and local government agencies employees, patients resuming treatment and humanitarian cases.

The authority stressed that all categories are requested requested to apply for approval via its website on "Twitter."

It was earlier reported that Sharjah and Abu Dhabi visa holders are not allowed to land at Dubai Airports.

This only cover residents of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
