Indians flying to Abu Dhabi must follow these steps before beginning their journey

Ethiad Airways has urged Indians passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi to follow these four steps to breeze through the airport immigration.  

All passengers are required to submit a request on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to obtain the necessary approval.

Vaccination certificates approved by authorities in the country should be attached.

The authorities said holders of valid residency who received full vaccination in the UAE and 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose and carrying vaccination certificates approved by the official authorities in the country will be allowed to enter from those countries.

Indians travelling to Abu Dhabi must follow these steps:  

Step 1
Take a COVID-19 PCR test 72 hours before you fly to Abu Dhabi and download the UAE Al Hosn app. A rapid PCR test 4 hours prior to boarding is a must.

Step 2
When you land, you’ll have a COVID-19 PCR test in Abu Dhabi airport

Step 3
Unless you’re travelling from a Green list country, you must quarantine for up to 12 days, depending on your vaccination status.

Step 4
Take a follow up COVID-19 PCR test on the days required, depending on where you’ve travelled from and your vaccination status. The passengers required to take a PCR test on arrival. Another PCR test on day six and day eleven will be conducted.

Etihad said that if any passengers are travelling from a country that the UAE authorities deem to be high-risk, the traveller will be subject to quarantine at a government facility.
