UAE Rulers congratulate leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on new Hijri year

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent congratulatory cables to the kings, presidents and princes of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Hijri New Year 1443.

He extended his wishes for health and happiness to them, more progress and prosperity for their peoples and glory and higher stature for Arab and Islamic nation.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar congratulatory cables to the kings, presidents, princes and prime ministers of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Hijri New Year 1443.

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted: “Congratulations to the UAE people and to Arab and Islamic nation on the occasion of Hijri New Year. Hijrah (migration) is a symbol of transformation, movement and endeavor. It signifies exerting efforts and making sacrifices in order to build a better future.

“This is the most important lesson for Muslims today after 1443 years of migration of our Prophet (PBUH).” Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed tweeted: “Congratulations to the UAE people and Muslims around the world on the occasion of Hijri New Year. May God bless all of us this year with peace, prosperity and good health.”
