Ajman Police honour Emirati who reported on hit-and-run driver

As part of the Ministry of Interior's strategic objectives of enhancing road safety, the Ajman Police honoured an Emirati for his contribution to enhancing road safety by reporting on a driver who ran away from the scene of an accident caused by him.

Lt. Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, handed over a certificate of appreciation and a gift to Rashid Bin Khalid Al Mualla, praising his positive cooperation with the Ajman Police in enhancing road safety.

Reflecting his sense of responsibility towards the security of society, Rashid reported to the police a driver who caused a road accident in one of the tunnels on Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road and decamped from the scene.

Rashid’s reaction led the police to reach and seize that person who caused the accident, Al Falasi said, noting that the Ajman Police are always keen to honour those who actively cooperate with them, in order to motivate more such efforts and render the best services to society.

On his part, Rashid Al Mualla expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ajman Police, stressing that what he did was a patriotic and moral duty towards those who spend their time and effort to provide security and safety for members of society, wishing Ajman Police a continued success.
