The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) highlighted 5 steps to obtain a multiple-entry visa through its website.

The authority explained, “These steps start with entering the authority’s website, selecting smart channels, selecting public services, then selecting the service by clicking on the “visa”, then selecting the “long-term tourist visa” service, and finally filling in the data.”

The authority indicated that multi-entry tourist visa is available to all nationalities, and the validity period extends to five years. The holder of the visa can stay in the country for 90 days each time, which can be extended to a similar period.

The authority confirmed that UAE nationals can apply to renew the passport by chatting with the virtual assistant available on its website.

It also clarified, “The user first mentions his name to the virtual assistant, select “passport renewal” service from the list of services the assistant will send to him, clicks on the service or writes its number from the list of services that will appear to him.”

The virtual assistant will then ask the applicant for the Emirates ID number and his date of birth. The applicant then clicks on the link of the service, and then the virtual assistant will redirect him to the service provision screen, to review the information, and finally he moves to the payment page.

The authority called on users to ensure the accuracy and validity of the data before paying the fees to avoid delays in completing the transaction, as the data entered will be strictly reviewed.
