Aunt kills niece and nephew, hides their bodies in car trunk for a year

Authorities in the US arrested Nicole Johnson, 33, from Baltimore, for overspeeding.
The police discovered the bodies of two kids in the car trunk that turned to be Johnson’s niece and nephew, according local media.
Johnson faces many charges including child abuse, which led to the death of a girl, aged seven, and a boy, aged five.
She reportedly concealed her niece's body in a bag she put in the trunk of her car in May 2020, according to the Baltimore Sun.
A year later, she hid the boy's body, along with his sister's decomposing body, after wrapping it in a plastic bag.
The crime was discovered on Wednesday when Johnson was stopped by police for speeding and the car was impounded because she did not have the legal papers.
In 2019, Johnson's sister asked her to take care of the two children.
On being questioned, Johnson confessed she hit her niece several times and it happened that the little girl's head hit the ground and she died.
As for the boy, Johnson did not tell the police how she killed him.
