The body of a 39-year-old UAE national was found behind the “Eid Musalla” (Eid prayer yard) in Fujairah, the GHQ of Fujairah Police revealed on Sunday afternoon.

The security teams in Fujairah have initiated investigations into the incident to unravel the circumstances behind the death, the police said.

The operations room received a report at 8pm on Saturday, stating that the body of an Emirati man was found near the Eid prayer yard in Fujairah.

The research teams, experts from the criminal laboratory and the ambulance immediately rushed to the location of the incident.

They were able to identify the body, which was transferred to the criminal laboratory for autopsy to determine the cause of death, the police said.
