The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha), the UAE’s largest healthcare network, announced the opening of a new COVID-19 drive-through service centre in Rabdan area in Abu Dhabi.
The new centre is composed of 6 tracks; 2 for vaccination and 4 for nasal swabs and DPI laser-based testing with a capacity of 200 vaccinations and 1,000 nasal swabs and laser tests per day.
The centre welcomes clients from Saturday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm and on Friday from 10am to 8pm.
The new centre was built utilising shipping containers, similar to the centres recently opened in Al Sarouj in Al Ain and Al Manhal in Abu Dhabi. The shipping containers are more durable and adaptable, and provide a very high level of heat and cold resistance. They are also easier to move, reuse, and maintain.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 drive-through services centre managed by Seha to 7 in the city of Abu Dhabi; Al Madina, Al Manhal, Zayed Sports City, Al Bahia, Al Shamkha, Al Wathba, and the new centre in Rabdan; and a total of 22 across the nation. Anyone wanting to receive the vaccine or undergo a Covid screening can book an appointment through Seha’s app.
The Department of Health Abu Dhabi in collaboration with G42 Healthcare and Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) has announced the opening of a new purpose-built, walk-in registration, screening and testing facility at ADNEC for volunteers who want to participate in the world’s first clinical Phase III trial of an inactivated vaccine to combat COVID-19.
The new price is available for all wishing to conduct the test to assure their health, while it remains free to all citizens and to their domestic workers, people of determination, the pregnant, people over fifty, people with chronic diseases, and those suffering from suspicious symptoms or contacted positive cases
During his visit, Sheikh Khalid was briefed by Salem Al Noaimi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, SEHA, on the contribution of the drive-through testing facilities in the nation’s response to the global pandemic.
The Department of Dhafra Hospitals affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “Seha” opens today “Monday” the screening centre for covid-19 in Madinat Zayed, next to Madinat Zayed Council in Al Dhafra Region. The centre’s daily capacity reaches up to 300 people.
