Groom falls to death from 5th floor hours before his wedding ceremony

An Egyptian groom was killed hours before his wedding, when he and a friend, who was also killed, fell off a giant furniture moving crane.

They were reportedly participating in moving the groom’s new furniture to his new apartment on the fifth floor in a building in Alexandria governorate, Egypt.

Security sources said that the groom and his friend died on the spot, while the bride, who was happily attending the ceremony of the wedding preparations, was transferred to the hospital after suffering from a sudden stroke caused by the shock.

The scene in a blink of any eye changed from a joyful one to very sorrowful incident.

Eyewitnesses said that the groom, who was following-up with the shipping company workers, while moving the furniture to his new house, suddenly decided to hold on to the winch to lift the furniture to his apartment.

He and his friend lost their balance and both fell on the ground.

They sustained critical wounds, which caused their death on the spot.
