Authorities confirmed that the process of developing and changing vaccines and medicines is ongoing, in order to get the best vaccine to combat the genetic variation of the COVID-19 virus.
“We stress that virus mutations pose a high risk to society, especially for those who are not vaccinated. Therefore, we call upon members of the community who are not vaccinated to take the available vaccinations.”
There is concern that some variants, such as those first found in South Africa and Brazil, may reduce the efficacy of the first generation of COVID-19 vaccines, and manufacturers are looking to adapt their shots.
The UAE Health Ministry on Friday announced that it conducted 290,542 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 1,529 new coronavirus cases.
A woman filed a lawsuit against a women’s salon in which she requested the court to obligate the salon to pay her Dhs100,000 in compensation for the burns she sustained by mistake when her nails were trimmed and decorated with acrylic.
