The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces received a phone call from US National Security Adviser.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Jake Sullivan spoke on positive note on the latest development in the region.
The US official expressed his thanks for the efforts made by the UAE to establish a ceasefire and to promote a political solution to the conflict in the Ethiopian Tigray region. They discussed ways of providing aid to the people in the Tigray region.
The conflict brought dire situation for residents.
During the call, the two sides discussed friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the United States. Both of them discussed current situation in the region. The talks also touched upon ways to enhance security and stability in the region.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and General Austin Miller exchanged views over the latest developments in the region, primarily the withdrawal of the US troops and its Nato allies from Afghanistan, due to be completed by Sept.11.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and Sebastian held a meeting in Vienna and discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing the strategic partnership between their countries in various fields.
Sheikh Mohammed assured the newly appointed ambassadors that they will receive all support from UAE authorities including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation headed by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The case dates back to last February, when reliable information was forwarded to the Anti-Narcotics Department at Dubai Police about a person consuming narcotics and psychotropic substances and possessing a quantity of them in his house in the Palm Island area in Dubai.
The story did not end here but developed from rape into drugs and the victim ended up at the hands of Dubai Police who referred her to the Hemaya International Centre of Dubai Police’s General Department of Anti-narcotics for rehabilitation.
