VIDEO: Two militants killed in Kashmir encounter
Security forces cordoned off an area in Kulgam district, Kashmir.
In an ongoing operation in Kashmir, security forces in Kulgam district killed two suspected militants in a massive gunfight on Wednesday.
The encounter took place after a tip-off was received by the forces about suspected militants hiding in the area.
A police official said the operation is in progress and two terrorists have been neutralised in Chimmer area.
The area has been sealed off.
Police suspect that there could be more militants hiding in the area.
The forces have launched a massive search operation is underway.
The forces came under heavy fire from the rebels after zeroing in on their hideout.
