Kuwait records the world’s highest temperatures exceeding 53.2°C during last 24 hours, prompting weather authorities to issue alert for residents to take proper care of hydration periodically.

An international website that monitors temperatures around the world has ranked 13 Arab cities among the hottest spots in the world during the last 24 hours, with temperatures exceeding 53.2ºC.

The website said, “An Arab city records the highest temperature in the world, along with other 10 cities from the Arab world.”

The “Eldoradoweather” published a list of the highest temperatures in the world during the last 24 hours, as the seven highest were recorded in 7 Arab cities, and the list came as follows:

The temperature in the Gulf region is usually hits 50°C in summers.

In 2017, a tweet went viral showing a truck sinking as asphalt melts in Kuwait. The temperature was reported the highest on that day.
