The much anticipated entertainment and shopping bonanza event, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), is finally starting from Thursday (July 1) to offer an abundance of shopping promotions and entertainment opportunities across the Emirate of Dubai. 

The 10-week long sensational shopping fiesta features food, fun and festivities, super promotions, epic giveaways and fountain shows plus much more from 1 July to 4 September.  The details of the 24th edition of the event were announced at a press conference on Sunday held on the 52nd floor observation deck of the city’s new attraction The View in Palm Jumeirah. 

The event is is being conducted by Dubai’s leading festivals and retail body, the DFRE.

The event will offer something fresh and exciting for residents.

This edition will run for 10 weeks with exciting rewards and fun, Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO, DFRE said.

This year, DSS takes on even greater importance as it caters to residents who are opting to enjoy a staycation rather than a vacation abroad.

With this in mind, the DSS calendar has been carefully crafted to appeal to people who call the city home while also wowing visitors from around the world.
