The video is part of Abu Dhabi Police’s “Safety Path" campaign and urged members of the community to share their views on the video.

The Abu Dhabi Traffic and Patrols Directorate called on drivers to leave a sufficient and safe distance between vehicles to avoid ill-fated incidents during the flow of traffic on roads.

The police explained that under the Law No. 5 of 2020, which states that causing an accident due to not leaving a sufficient safety distance leads to the seizure of vehicles in Abu Dhabi.

A fine of Dhs5,000 would be paid to release the impounded vehicle. Moreover, the amount must be paid within three months from the date of seizure.

And if the amount is not paid in 3 months, the vehicle would be transferred to the public action yard.
