UAE reveals 2,161 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths, administers 98,689 vaccine doses

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention ahs announced that experts have conducted 282,345 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours to uncover the number of new infection in the country.

The health experts announced 2,161 new cases coronavirus cases.

The authorities also said that 2,123 previously infected people have recovered from the dreadful disease.

The ministry is using the state-of-the-art equipment and experienced doctors to treat infected cases in the UAE.    

However, the ministry said 2 people died due to COVID-19 related complications.

The ministry has expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased, and prayed to the Almighty Allah for the speedy recovery of the infected patients. 

The ministry said it is expanding the scope of the tests to curb the spread of virus.

The authorities said that experts have administered 98,689 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours on residents all across the UAE.

The total number of vaccine doses reached 14,834,355 with a rate of 149.99 doses per 100 people.
