His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, confirmed that with the countdown to the launch of Expo 2020 Dubai in October, the UAE is preparing to host the world's cultures and achievements.

Sheikh Mohamed tweeted, "With the inspiring vision of my brother Mohammed Bin Rashid and the experiences of our children, we are confident in our abilities to create an exceptional event in the history of international exhibitions, which presents sustainable solutions to the challenges facing humanity.

In 100 days, the UAE will be the first country in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region to host a World Expo in the largest global gathering since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marking 100 days to go until the whole world gathers in one place, Expo 2020 Dubai is using its cutting-edge projection and display technology to light up Al Wasl dome.

With excitement building for the first World Expo to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, more than 250 laser projectors lit up the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface to stunning effect.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai announced the countdown for Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s largest cultural event to convene the global community towards creating solutions for a better future.

The celebrations continued this evening, when Expo 2020’s Official Hotel and Hospitality Partner, Emaar Hospitality Group, lit up the Burj Khalifa at 2020 and 2220 GST. From 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, Expo 2020 Dubai will welcome visitors from every corner of the globe to join the making of a new world, as it brings together the planet in one place to reimagine tomorrow.

Expo 2020 Dubai, set to begin on 1st October, is expected to attract more than 25 million visitors from all over the world to discover life-changing innovations. The mega event aims to drive collaboration and innovation to develop real-life solutions as the world heads into a post-pandemic economic recovery.

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted, “100 days to go for Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s largest cultural event. 100 days to go for the gathering of 192 nations in Dubai in the biggest global event since the outset of the pandemic to usher in a new phase of recovery.” “50,000 employees have set up 192 pavilions and 30,000 volunteers are ready to welcome the world at Expo 2020 Dubai.”
