A casual visit to refuel his car proved costly to a man in Saudi Arabia as he ended up putting up his vehicle on fire.

The video of the incident, which according to the local report, took place in Unaizah Governorate of the country has gone viral on social media.

In the video the driver of the vehicle is seen chatting with the petrol station attendant while getting his car refuelled.

All of a sudden a burning object, presumably a cigarette or a cigar, falls down on the floor from driver’s hand.

Panicked attendant in his bid to stay away from the burning object, takes out the fuel nozzle from the car’s tank.

The spilled fuel on the floor caught fire and engulfed the attendant and the vehicle.

The attendant somehow managed to put off the flames and ran away. Driver of the vehicle also got away from the fire leaving his vehicles engulfed in the flames.

Another fuel station attendant can be seen coming with a fire extinguisher and douses the fire.
