Christian Turner, the British High Commissioner, has been passionately working to show the beauty of Pakistan to the world by regularly posting the scenic photos on his Twitter but it seem he is not happy with the Pakistanis’ habit of littering.

Turner posted pictures of collecting heaps of garbage during his morning trek on Margalla Hills in Islamabad on his Twitter handle while reminding people about their religious obligation.

“Another #FridayMorningWalk, another two bags of litter. Safaai nisf imaan hai cc @dcislamabad @hamzashafqaat @CleanGreenPK.”

In his tweet, he quoted the Islamic saying, that ‘Cleanliness is half the faith’ in a bid to make people of Pakistan realize the importance of cleanliness.

This is not the first time, Turner posted the photos to grab attention of the authorities. On April 29, he posted a similar picture of collecting two bags of garbage on his morning walk on Margalla Hills in the federal capital.

The Office of Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said on Twitter, “Volunteering for cleanliness activity on Margalla Hills. Unfortunately people leave their waste after Iftar in the forest area. @CTurnerFCDO highlighted the issue. Today we gathered our teams and helped the sanitation teams in keeping the forest areas clean.”
