UAE reports 1,710 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1, 710 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday.

In addition to the new cases, 1, 551 individuals have recovered and two people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 195,166 additional COVID-19 tests over the last 24 hours.

 In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 516, 301 positive coronavirus cases, 497,140 have recovered and 1, 580 passed away.
