2, 094 new coronavirus cases in the UAE in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2, 094 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday. 

 

In addition to the new cases, it recorded 1, 900 recoveries and five deaths. 

 

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 185, 007 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. 

 

As part of its intensified testing campaign, the UAE has recorded 514, 591 positive coronavirus cases since the outbreak. 

Out of the positive cases, 495, 589 have recovered and 1, 578 passed away.
