UAE reports 1,759 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths in 24 hours

Gulf Today, Staff Reporter 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recorded 1, 759 new coronavirus cases on Monday.

Additionally, it also recorded 1,580 recoveries and two deaths.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 160, 390 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

 In a statement on Monday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 512, 497 positive coronavirus cases, 493,689 have recovered and 1, 573 passed away.
