UAE records 1,930 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1, 930 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

In addition to the new cases, it recorded 1, 503 recoveries and four deaths.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 203, 347 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak the UAE has recorded 497,154 positive cases, 479, 566 have recovered and 1, 554 passed away.
