UAE announces 2,022 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2, 022 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday.

In addition to the positive cases, 1,731 people recovered and four people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted additional 266, 023 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 487,697 coronavirus cases since the outbreak, 471,906 have recovered and 1,537 passed away.
