Ramadan charity campaigns begin to help people in need

With the starting of the Holy month of Ramadan, the spirit of helping needy people in the society has been gearing up with the launch of different types of charity campaigns.

In this regard, to embrace the spirit of giving during Ramadan, Mercato Mall will partner with Emirates Red Crescent to host a month-long charity donation campaign for those in need.

The charity donation campaign “Share Your Blessings This Ramadan” is an initiative to encourage shoppers to share their blessings with people in need during Ramadan by placing daily essentials and non-perishable food in our donation boxes, supported by Emirates Red Crescent.

This year dedicated donation boxes of toys will be placed in the donation area to encourage children to give back to other children in need and share the opportunity to have the joyful experiences that every child deserves. All donations will go to Emirates Red Crescent.

Furthermore, the Pop-up Markets showcasing the best homegrown labels by Emirati designers where shoppers can buy the latest Ramadan abayas and kaftans. While visitors can buy Ramadan inspired home décor, handmade jewellery and serving- sets all under one roof at the ARTE Market.

In recent months, Mercato welcomed new exciting stores including Toys R us, Adidas, La Nero, The Perfume Bar, Samurai Sushi, Uncle Deek and Slab. In addition, The Closet, ACE Hardware and Daima outlets opened their doors to excited shoppers, who are ready to experience their favourite stores all at the heart of Jumeirah.

However, during the launch of its 2021 Ramadan Collection, the Pan Emirates Home Furnishings, has announced that month-long donation drive to support People of Determination with 1 per cent of all sale.

Furthermore, the students of determination at Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination have been making a number of products throughout the year as part of their rehabilitation and learning of various skills in the centre.

As part of the Ramadan, the ‘Smiles n’ Stuff’ shop has been filled up with a number of products for patrons to purchase as part of Ramadan Gifts and support the children.

This Ramadan Gift included pocket-sized prayer beads specially handmade by the Students of Determination. Support a great cause this Holy Season of Ramadan.
